I served as teaching assistant for several microbiology courses including General Microbiology, Microbiology of College Life, and Public Health Microbiology. I was involved in designing activities for discussion section, giving guest lectures, independently and co-leading leading discussion sections, mentoring undergraduate teaching assistants, meeting with students to discuss study skills and course content, writing exam questions, and grading.

I taught BIOL 101: Essentials of Biology in the Fall 2022 & Spring 2023 semesters. The Cornell Prison Education Program provides courses leading to college degrees for people incarcerated in upstate New York State prison to help students build meaningful lives inside prison as well as prepare for successful re-entry into civic life.
